Mary-Ann has been a teacher for over 25 years and has taught across all sectors including primary, secondary, post-compulsory and HE.  During this time, she has continually studied educational psychology and educational leadership.  In recent years   

Mary-Ann has been training the next generation of post-compulsory teachers. 

She has remained passionate about making teaching and learning a joyous experience and with current challenges within the UK education sector Mary-Ann has spent the last five years researching for a PhD.  This research has explored teaching practices that are most conducive to supporting the positive emotional well-being of learners in post-compulsory education.  You can read more about this on the blog page. 

She continues to share strategies for bringing joy back into classrooms for both teachers and learners through talks, training, coaching and mentoring of other professionals in the sector.
